Cape Fear Blues Cruise on the Henrietta III

Come and enjoy the largest and most exciting Blues Cruise of
its kind in the southeastern U.S.!  3 bands, 3 decks & 3 bars,
heavy appetizers and a 2-hour cruise along the beautiful Cape
Fear River.  Live blues from Mel Melton & The Wicked Mojos,
The Dynamic Therm-O-Tones, Charlie & Rose Lucas, plus
Spider Mike Bochey will be playing live on the dock!  Appetizer
menu includes pork BBQ, hot crab dip & pita points, meatballs
& marinara sauce, cole slaw, macaroni salad, cucumber salad,
corn bread, and dessert item(s).  Attend the Post-Cruise Party
at The Rusty Nail (1310 S. 5th St.) afterwards!
Blues Festival Concert at Legion Stadium
Saturday July 26, 2008 @ Noon
Come to Legion Stadium for the Festival Concert under the big
tent.  5 bands including Beautiful Bobby Blackmon & The B3
Band, Delta Highway, Theresa Lindstrom & Nel Nichols, The
Cape Fear Blues Band, and The Chickenhead Blues Band.  
Food, beverages, parking, and all facilities on-site.  Lawn chairs &
blankets are welcome.  No pets, coolers. or glass allowed.  Gates
open 11:00 am.  Music starts at Noon.

Proceeds from some items sold in the CFBS Store benefit the projects and programs of the Cape Fear Blues Society, a non-profit  501(c)3 organization.
